Connecting to Strengthen Advocacy In Education Conference

Mandi Sharkey, Neurodiversity Consultant at BC based E.P.I.C. Consulting Collaborative, is an advocate, certified trainer and educator committed to helping care teams and families in the community access the tools for more success with less stress. Her presentations cover Inclusion, Natural Play Therapy, Low Arousal Approach and Collaborative-Proactive-style communication.

Workshop: Tools for the Inclusion Mindset

You will learn:

Free ways to work towards and understand the inclusion mindset so that we might help each other (parents/teachers) find common vocabulary.

Understanding and being able to advocate for the simple, free tools that start Inclusion Mindset are key. Both parents and teachers can learn 5 tools that can keep us focused on the prize: inclusion. Go away with ideas to create a common mindset to advocate from and collaborate with.
